About the program:

• Grand Rapids Chamber Program gives students an opportunity to work with some of the finest teachers and performers in the country. 

​​

• Student groups are formed based on playing ability and age. 

 

• Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass and Piano students, Ages 8-18 are welcome!

 

• Students will be given music ahead of time that they can learn before they come. Instructors on every instrument are on hand to help!

​

• High school students get the chance to perform side-by-side with faculty.

​

• Each day students receive chamber coachings as well as instruction in theory, composition, chamber orchestra, choir, and the opportunity to work in their groups during rehearsals. GRCMC is an immersive week of performing and learning about several dimensions of music.
